TRAINING WORKSHOPS
Our training workshops are hosted by Australasian Medical Aesthetics on the Gold Coast. They are designed to provide the latest in industry education and training on a range of beauty machines. Training can be provided in Microdermabrasion, IPL, Laser and Phototherapy.

The microdermabrasion topics covered in the workshop include practical operation techniques, microdermabrasion theory, machine maintenance, pressure testing, safety and hygiene, skin sensitivity testing, crystal treatments versus diamond head treatments, incorporating the Clairderm Cosmeceutical range into your business and marketing your microdermabrasion treatments to your customers.

The workshops are held once to twice a month on a Wednesday morning at our Gold Coast office, located at 2/507 Olsen Avenue, Ashmore, Queensland. Bookings are essential as spots fill up fast! We prefer to have a maximum of 8 students at each workshop and this is to ensure that our trainer can spend as much time with each student during the physical test component of the workshop, and it allows the students to ask more questions and gain more information that may be more specific and relevant to their business.

Assessment on the day is completed by way of a multiple choice test, verbal questions and physical testing in the use of the machine. Students will perform a microdermabrasion treatment in front of the trainer. This is crucial as it allows our trainer to identify techniques to be improved on by the student. A Certificate in training will be issued upon successful completion of a training workshop.

ON-SITE TRAINING
We understand that it is not always convenient to send your staff to the Gold Coast for training, particularly if your business is interstate. Our trainer can come to you! This is especially helpful if you have multiple staff members requiring training or if some of the staff wish to sit in as a refresher course. The costs are the same for training 1 or 10 staff members, so this may be a more economical and viable option for your business. WORKSHOP AND BOOKING DETAILS
Microdermabrasion workshops run for approximately 3 hours and cost $82.50 (includes gst) per person. Costs of the different workshops will vary as will running times. Our workshops are conducted once to twice a month on a Wednesday and topics rotate between Microdermabrasion, IPL, Laser and Phototherapy. A deposit of $20 per person is required at time of booking. The balance of training fees are payable by or on the day of the workshop. Bookings may be cancelled no less than 24 hours from the day of the workshop. Deposits are refundable upon cancellation only when no less than 24 hours notice is given.

Lisa has been working with Australasian Medical Aesthetics and the Clairderm Microdermabrasion equipment and Cosmeceuticals for 8 years and is an expert in Microdermabrasion, IPL, Laser and Phototherapy.
